We're seeking a motivated Leasing Consultant to join our team in the Madison West area. In this role, you'll be the first impression of our community—guiding prospects through the leasing journey while helping maintain a welcoming, resident-focused environment.

Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $18-$22 plus commission
- Location: Madison West Area
- Full-Time
What You'll Do
- Conduct apartment tours and convert prospects into residents.
- Manage leasing leads from phone calls, email, text messages, and online inquiries.
- Follow established leasing procedures and Fair Housing guidelines.
- Process rental applications and assist with lease preparation and execution.
- Maintain accurate prospect, resident, and lead activity within CRM and property management software.
- Assist with resident retention, lease renewals, and move-in coordination.
- Monitor apartment readiness and communicate unit status with onsite teams.
- Submit and follow up on maintenance work orders.
- Assist with rent collection and resident account support.
- Support marketing efforts, outreach initiatives, and market survey activities.
- Help maintain professional curb appeal, model apartments, and common areas.
- Conduct move-in and move-out inspections as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in residential property management, apartment leasing, multifamily housing, hospitality, retail sales, or a related industry preferred.
- Strong ability to manage leasing pipelines and follow up consistently with prospects.
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing practices or willingness to learn.
- Comfortable utilizing CRM systems, property management software, and digital communication tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
- Professional presentation and positive attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required.
Physical Requirements
- Walk apartment communities regularly, including stairs and outdoor areas.
- Lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Bend, stoop, climb, and stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
