Position: Leasing Agent

Location: The Ponds on Plum Grove
Pay Range: $17–$20

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our team. In this position, you’ll manage leasing activities, support marketing initiatives, and assist with administrative tasks to keep property operations running smoothly. Your role will include building strong relationships with residents and prospects, ensuring compliance, and maintaining a professional property environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lease apartments and participate in off-site marketing efforts.
• Inspect and maintain model units, vacant apartments, and overall property appearance.
• Ensure adherence to all Fair Housing regulations.
• Process rental applications and prepare lease agreements.
• Organize and maintain resident and office files.
• Prepare reports, lease packages, and update online content.
• Collect rents and deposits; make bank deposits as needed.
• Respond promptly to calls, emails, texts, and online inquiries.
• Use call scripts for initial contact with prospective residents.
• Submit and follow up on work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate professionally with residents, applicants, staff, and vendors.
• Support resident retention and lease renewal efforts.
• Conduct property inspections to maintain high standards of appearance.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience: Previous leasing experience required.
Licenses: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance. Report any changes immediately.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs. Comfortable handling office tasks such as answering calls, emails, and greeting clients.
