Leasing & Resident Engagement Specialist (Bilingual) | Springtree Community
Location: Middleton, WI
Compensation: Starting range equivalent to $18–$26/hour, plus leasing and renewal incentives
About the Role
Springtree Apartments is seeking a bilingual leasing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. This role is responsible for guiding prospective residents through the full leasing journey—from initial inquiry to signed lease—while delivering accurate information, maintaining compliance, and creating a strong first impression of the community.
You will spend time connecting with prospects, conducting in-person tours, managing applications, and supporting residents through move-ins, renewals, and day-to-day communication. Success in this role requires organization, consistency in follow-up, and the ability to document and track activity within property management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead prospects through the full leasing cycle including inquiry, tour, application, and lease execution
- Conduct detailed apartment tours and present community features based on prospect needs
- Manage leasing activity within AppFolio, including guest cards, applications, and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate and complete leasing documentation and prospect records
- Respond to inbound calls, emails, and internet leads with timely, professional communication
- Support resident lifecycle processes including move-ins, transfers, and renewals
- Submit and track service requests and coordinate with maintenance as needed
- Ensure all interactions and decisions follow Fair Housing standards
- Maintain readiness of model units, office spaces, and property appearance
Role Specific Skills You'll Use Daily
- Hands-on experience managing leasing activity within AppFolio or comparable property management software
- Demonstrated ability to track and document prospect interactions, applications, and follow-ups in a CRM environment
- Working knowledge of leasing workflows, including application processing, lease preparation, and move-in coordination
- Ability to explain move-in costs, screening requirements, and lease terms clearly and accurately
- Strong understanding of Fair Housing compliance and appropriate leasing language in customer interactions
- Proven ability to manage multiple active prospects, deadlines, and follow-ups without loss of accuracy
- Experience conducting structured apartment tours and qualifying prospects based on needs and requirements

- Detail-focused approach to file organization, record accuracy, and documentation standards
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- Ability to walk the property regularly and lift/move up to 25 lbs
- Availability for a schedule that may include weekends
- Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) with the ability to communicate leasing details clearly in both languages preferred
